Case's new 70 series tractors were launched in August of 1969 during the Case "Intro 70." One marketing plan for the new series was the highly-visible Black Knight demonstrator tractors. Correctly serviced, weighted and fitted with the correct tires, these specially painted and decorated tractors were demonstrated to potential customers by the Case dealerships.
